The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge at Eagle Point that curves out past the rim edge, so you look straight down through the floor. Whether it is worth it depends on how you buy. Per grandcanyonwest.com, general admission to Grand Canyon West is $67 and the all-access ticket including the Skywalk is $99, so the bridge itself is a modest step up once you are already there. On the coach tour it is an optional add-on, and plenty of travelers skip it and still rate the day highly for Guano Point alone.
One outdated claim to clear up: the old ban on personal cameras is gone. Per the venue's own FAQs, personal phones are now allowed on the bridge at the guest's own risk, and professional photos are still sold if you want them. Has anyone ever fallen from the Skywalk?
